USAID Promotes Photo Contest to Show Mitigation Climate Change Project's
May/June, 2024 – High-quality photos of adaptation, integration, and mitigation work at the intersection of climate change and international development – that's what USAID wants to see with the 2024 Climatelinks Photo Contest.
The contest requests compelling images of work at the intersection of climate change and international development. Photo submissions will contribute to USAID’s photo libraries on topics ranging from nature-based solutions to climate mitigation and managing climate risk.
You can submit photos using this link between June 5 to July 19, and the rules and requirements for the format and quality of the photos you can see here.
Submission and release form is required, along with the image title and other information related to the climate change activity and it is possible to submit a maximum of five entries.
The photo does not have to represent work that is funded by USAID, though USAID-related photos will be given preference.
All photos will be featured in a public photo gallery on the Climatelinks website (see here), and may also be featured in the Climatelinks newsletter, blog, homepage, social media, or in other USAID materials.
Winning photos will be announced in fall 2024. The photographer maintains ownership of the rights to their photos. However, the submission grants reproduction rights to USAID for use in print or online materials.
