USAID/Brazil is seeking eligible for the position of Project Management Specialist

November/December 2023 - USAID/Brazil is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Project Management Specialist (Monitoring and Evaluation). The application deadline is until January 18.

To apply, the interested candidate must have, at a minimum, a Bachelor’s degree in economics, Public or Development Policy, Political Science, Sociology, Public or Business Administration, Statistics or comparable fields of studies relevant to development.

The position holder will provide critical support for monitoring, evaluation, collaboration, learning, and adaptation for environmental and health programs supported by USAID in the country. The commitment is full-time, with a 40-hour workweek, and availability for travel is required.

Environmental activities focus on biodiversity conservation, sustainable development, and private sector engagement to improve the well-being of Indigenous Peoples and local communities in the Amazon. Health activities include tracking linkages between human, animal, and environmental health to prevent, detect, and respond to threats posed by emerging infectious diseases.

In addition to guiding and planning monitoring activities and report writing, the position also helps train technical teams from the Mission and implementation partners, including participating in visits to local communities involved in the projects.
