USAID's Deputy Assistant Administrator’s visit
USAID's Deputy Assistant Administrator (DAA) for Latin America and the Caribbean Bernardo Rico visited Brazil June 1-8 to meet with key Governmental and private sector leaders partnering with USAID/ Brazil. With a strong background in international finance, DAA Rico also led USAID's exploratory meetings with the Central Bank's Comissão de Valores Mobiliarios (CVM); the entity responsible for registration of the $100 million Amazon Biodiversity Fund (FIP-ABF) that is emerging from USAID's private sector engagement work in the Amazon.
